My father always told me…

“You can accomplish anything with

Practice – Patience – Persistence

My journey with art began at a young age.  My father was an excellent self-taught pencil artist particularly with portraits. Although I have no “official” art education, like him, I have been a self-learner beginning with pencil.

I remember joining an art class in 1st grade, and spent hours creating as a child.   During H.S. I had a chance to explore other media, but watercolor did not come until my 40’s. The stimulation of brilliant colors brought a new excitement to my art.

Through the years, I had the privilege of working with many students in the homeschool community, in private art class and even adult workshops.  It is a joy to see others create and gain confidence by learning competence.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Mission

To  inspire others to appreciate the joy of art and to educate those who have never tried watercolor, but who have the curiosity and courage to learn a new skill and find a new passion.

Vision

Illuminating the senses to notice the amazing beauty of God’s creation, and to discover each one’s creative power.
